Victim of Shame Team Feat

Your experience about working on “Victim of Shame”:
It was a wonderful experience to work with my team on “VOS”. It is not very easy to choose people from different parts of the world and to form such an impeccable team. I just verse DURROOD PAK and Almighty ALLAH along with my eternal inspiration PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM) helps me. Almighty ALLAH blessed me with such an impeccable team. I even look forward to work with them in the future. My team members are more than friends to me. I love them all.
Comments about “Victim of Shame”:
“VOS” is a book that will spark endless conversations, arguments and discussions. It will entertain its readers but at the same time enlighten them with thoughts that have not been given much attention.
How do you feel about working on an international project:
Working with an international team of people is always very exciting. When you interact with people from different countries you explore many new things. Moreover when you are not just a team member, but the team leader, it adds your responsibility and doubles the onus on your shoulders and minimizes the corridor of uncertainty for you.
Anything that you want to say about your Team Members:
They are all very nice and very co-operative. I owe respect to all of them. As they enjoy working with me similarly I also enjoy working with them and love them all.
Anything else:
I would like to say to my readers that “VOS” will certainly live up to their expectations. It will be another book that will stay with them long after they finish reading it. It will enlighten them with many thoughts and ideas. Above all, the book stands for itself, as the experts, such as Edgar Award winner and New York Times best-selling author Mr. Burl Barer, and other professionals from USA, have praised the book. Their kudos demonstrate the quality of the book and leave with nothing further to say. Let my readers judge it after they read it, but one thing is for sure: “VOS” will be a great entertainer that will spark endless conversations, arguments and discussions.

Regina Djilavdrova from Russia talks about “VICTIM OF SHAME”

Your experience about working on “Victim of Shame”:
It was the first time in my life that I participated in international project. It was really interesting, but a little bit complicated for me, because I didn’t have any experience. I received piceless experience working on VOS.
Comments about “Victim of Shame”:
I think that the story is really breathtaking and exciting, because the main theme of the book is very extraordinary. I’m looking forward to reading this book.
How do you feel about working on an international project:
I felt that the world, people and nations became closer to each other. International cooperation is very significant nowadays. Working with the team of VOS, I felt like one of the members of an important international project. It was really fantastic for me!
Anything that you want to say about Mian; comments about Mian:

Joanne Bolton from South Africa talks about “VICTIM OF SHAME”

Your experience about working on “Victim of Shame”:
It was a wonderful experience to work with Mian on this, his third novel. After working with him on his previous two, we have developed a symbiotic relationship and a great understanding. There are still a few kinks which need to be ironed out, but I am sure that this can be done with minimal confrontation and confusion. I look forward to working with him in the future.
Comments about “Victim of Shame”:
As Mian’s experience as a writer grows, so does his command of the written word. “Victim of Shame” is an exceptionally interesting read from start to finish. Filled with religious, and moral, commentary, “Victim of Shame” takes the reader on an emotional journey from start to finish and leaved one with a comforting, happy feeling of satisfaction. The characters are easy to identify with and are very ‘human’ in their characterisation.
How do you feel about working on an international project:
I don’t really have any specific feelings about working on an international project, as I have neither dealt with nor met any of the other team members. However, knowing that I am a part of something that will undoubtedly spread around the world is both an exciting and satisfying feeling.
Anything that you want to say about Mian; comments about Mian:
We first met over MSN several years ago and the friendship has grown since then. I am grateful to Mian for his extreme patience in the face of technical disasters and mishaps. Although, at times, he can be a tad impatient, most of the time an attitude of patience is shown. I believe that the impatience stems from wanting things done quickly, and correctly, and the over-arching patience comes from the knowledge that, if you want something done properly, you cannot be too impatient with the person doing that thing for you. I am continually grateful to Mian for both his trust and his support.
Anything else:
“Victim of Shame” is a very emotional book that will touch your soul deeply. I do recommend it.

Interview with World-Class Author, Mian Mohsin Zia

Would you describe yourself as an introvert or an extrovert?

Extrovert

Do you come from a big family or a small one?

How do you categorize a big family and a small family? In terms of wealth or the number of members in the family?

Well, we are three brothers and sisters in all.

When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

It never remained the same. It kept changing with the passage of time. However, it was never to be an author. I never ever had any clue that I would become an author someday who would be published in multiple languages and be acclaimed internationally by award winning and New York Times Best-selling authors and professionals worldwide.

What are your favorite books to read?

Any book that not just entertains you but also enlightens you; ones with many different thoughts that stay with you long after you are done reading it.

Have you lived in a country other than the United States? If so, tell us where and what you enjoyed about that place.

I have lived all my life in Pakistan and it is the world’s best country to live in. I feel blessed to be a Pakistani.

Where is the most unique place you have traveled?

My home is the most unique place for me and will stay so. The comfort and peace you get after entering your home you do not get that comfort and peace at any other place.

When you were in High School, in what clique did you belong? (i.e. jock, drama geek, student council popular, high-tech nerd, average joe, cheerleader, gothic artist, etc.)

I think people who were studying with me in high school would answer this in a better way. I was popular.

Aside from your successes in the writing industry, what in your life has given you the greatest sense of accomplishment?

You cannot compare which one was greatest and which one was not. Accomplishments give you a sense of self-worth and they are always special. You cannot rate them, compare them, or categorize them.

I have been blessed with many accomplishments in all fields; my educational career, my professional career as a banker, an online English language trainer, as a heavy weight trainer and most importantly as an author. All of them have their moments of success and accomplishments.

I always say, “No matter whatever level you reach in life, getting better never stops.”

In addition, I always believe in one thing “All praise goes to Almighty ALLAH along with my eternal inspiration the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) as always.”

How many books have you written and how many of those are published?

Allhamdulillah, I have written three books so far and all of them are published and acclaimed internationally. One of them is also published in Russian. All my books are available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and everywhere books are sold. My website is http://www.mianmohsinzia.tk, where you can get free shipping.

How much character and plot detailing do you plan out before you begin writing a novel, or are you a “pantser”?

I do my homework well. I believe that if someone buys my book they should not feel cheated. I never sell my books by lying to my readers. I tell them this is what I have to offer you in a particular book if you like take it if not then at least keep sending your love.

I try to put in my soul and make it realistic for my readers. I want to give them something that not just provides them with entertainment but also enlightens them. I prefer to write a book that enlightens.

So far, I have been highly successful in my approach and my books, “ONCE” and “VICTIM OF SHAME” have set new trends worldwide in novel writing.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

One cannot rate, judge or compare which one was most or which one was least embarrassing. The most important thing is how well you absorb that embarrassment and how positively you take it. Defeat teaches you to be resilient and how to be a loser, but defeat does not make you a loser.

One bad thing in life does not overshadow you as an individual for all your life. You must wake up the next morning brush yourself and get ready to face life, struggle again and win.

What is your greatest regret in your life?

I always enjoy doing things that others don’t. Therefore, I don’t think there is anything regretful in my life, Allhamdulillah.

Prior to becoming a published author, how many rejections did you receive?

I always stay positive and never think about acceptances or rejections. I believe my readers are my best critics and only they have the right and authority to accept or reject my work. I write for my readers.

How and when do you write? Do you keep yourself on a schedule or do you work while the muse is with you?

No, I don’t have any schedule. Creativity cannot be bound by any schedule. I write when I feel like writing. I do not write just to write. I write when I feel my words will have impingement and value.

If you have a new release coming out, tell us about it.

Yes, my latest book is VICTIM OF SHAME: Why me, God? It will be released in the beginning of November and will be available from my website, with Free Shipping facility anywhere in the US and Canada, along with my other books. It will be also available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and everywhere books are sold.

All I can say about this book is that Edgar award winner, and New York Times best-selling author, Mr. Burl Barer

has said, “Mian is the brightest light on Pakistan’s new literary horizon.”

Moreover, many other authors from the USA have also praised this book after reading it.

I can share something exclusive about this book with the readers through this interview. VICTIM OF SHAME brings into discussion many things that have not been presented in such an entertaining way. The book will certainly spark endless conversations, arguments, and discussions. It will stay with the readers long after they finish reading it.

You can find the book trailer, video interviews, an excerpt and all details on my website: http://www.mianmohsinzia.tk

If you have many books already released, tell us which is your favorite and why.

A book is like an author’s child. Therefore, one cannot choose which child you love the most. I love all of them and they all are my favorites.

Give us a short synopsis of a book you’re writing now.

“Mian is the brightest light on Pakistan’s new literary horizon.” — Burl Barer, Edgar Award winner and New York Times best-selling author.

In a world of lightning fast communication, one mistake can transcend time; destroy lives…or save your soul.

Deception, resentment, madness, and vengeance — Ryan Campbell may be famous, but his life is a living hell.

Ryan Campbell is a tireless champion of women’s rights. His dedication unquestioned; his deeds exemplary. There is only one problem. In his inmost heart of hearts, Ryan Campbell hates women. Every battle for gender equality is a battle against his own resentments and ingrained prejudices. The greater his deeds, the deeper his shame. Confused and full of unrest, Ryan has only one question he can ask: “Why me, God?”

Sarah was a normal young woman. She was almost through with her degree and was engaged to be married. With the simple click of a button, her life changed forever. Now, abandoned by those whom she once called friends, she can only ask the question: “Why me, God?”

With insight, compassion and an acute sense of human drama, Mian explores the delicate balance between hypocrisy and redemption. Compelling, gripping, and filled with mystery, ‘Victim of Shame’ will spark endless conversations, arguments, and discussions.

“‘Victim of Shame’ gives hope where there is none. Mian creates characters you can really feel for.” — Julie Achterhoff, Author-USA.

“‘Victim of Shame’ weaves a tale of faith, adversity and strength, landing individuals on paths they never thought possible.” — Ellen M. DuBois, Author-USA.

Out of all your books, which is your favorite character and why?

I would say Mike Zander from The Strange Loyalist, Morkel and Muhammad Hassan from ONCE, Ryan Campbell and Maria Ahmed from VICTIM OF SHAME.

If you could step into the world of anyone else’s novel or meet with any character, which/who would you choose?

It is a hard question as I have many author friends who have scripted and invented great characters so if I name one character particularly my author friends would be definitely mad at me and I don’t want that.

What would your dream vacation be?

My dream vacation would be a holiday in Moscow.

If you could only pick one type of food to live on for one week, what type would it be? (i.e. Italian, Mexican, pizza, etc.)

Mexican.

If you could give one piece of advice to writers trying to be published, what would that advice be?

Winners do things that losers don’t do….FOCUS.

What’s up next for you and your writing?

Missing and An Autobiography of My Evil Deeds.

Anything else you’d like to share with my blog readers?

I would like to say, please do read my books and always feel free to share your feedback. Being an author, I work for my readers and therefore your response is what matters the most to me.

Where can we read more about you and your work?

Review of Victim of Shame by Talented Author Mian Mohsin Zia

First of all, this is a phenomenal book. I believe it has the ability to open the eyes of people in a big way. Ryan Campbell is the protagonist, whose life is changed in an instant. He loses the love of his life because of this. How he reacts to his misfortune drives the book forward. Mian has a gift at looking at the world in a very special and truthful way. He has created characters who absolutely come to life on the page. The storyline is unique and highly interesting, as well. There is a sense of tension that culminates in Ryan making the biggest mistake of his life. He then does his utmost to rectify his mistake by becoming a champion for women, especially those who have been mistreated in some way, even though, because of his past experience, he has come to hate women.

Mian’s style of writing is really beautiful. He is able to balance dialogue, story, and background with style and grace. One has the feeling that they are caught up in the story from the very beginning. This book also teaches the reader about the ideation of the Christian and Muslim faiths without being preachy. I learned many things about Muslims that I didn’t know before, such as their appreciation and respect for all other religions. I think this would be a good book for anyone who enjoys a solid good book. I will be giving it five stars on amazon and goodreads, as well as any other place that takes book reviews.
